After using the Nº 07 to slice up various things in the past couple days, to include lemons, limes, garlic, shallots, and onions, it is starting to show a little patina.

The handle is still pretty pristine, but the blade is coming along nicely......  :D

I do like the way the Opinels can lock closed.  :like:

I once got a half-decent slice in a finger when I reached into a pocket to find that my knife had opened up, unbeknownst to me.....

Nice job, Opinel!  :tu:

Opening a packet of batteries to refill a flashlight.  I hate plastic packaging....but the Opinel makes it a bit more fun.

Yes......not sure why......clunky, dim, heavy.....but I still like it.

I have a 'mini 'version somewhere.....I think.  That's even better. I do like being able to rest the base on a table and then use both hands to work on a task.

My participation in this Beauty Pageant, I mean Challenge, has been a bit lacking in part because I only had one Traditional  :dunno:

Throughout the Challenge, three things have stood out

1 Case knives
2 Case knives with Yellow scales
3 Case Trappers

Without further ado
I present to you
My shiny new

Very nice, congrats

The oldest one I have is this 3D Mag. which somehow gives me a reassuring feel holding it.

Right. The deck1 was well shuffled, all the knaves were removed2, and then the deck was well shuffled again.

(Image removed from quote.)

1. This cool deck of cards was a present from Mrs Nix, back when she liked me. She found this deck while traveling in Russia.
2. Just kidding! I accidentally left the knave of Spades in.

A card was drawn at random......
