Synergy X mod / Spydernox?

Going to be modifying a Victorinox Synergy X and posting pics as I go along. 

First challenge, what to do about the pocket clip.  Looks to be riveted in place as the last step.  Not sure how they did it, they must have some tooling to do this after the knife is assembled.  I don't think I'll be able to rivet it in place once the knife is assembled, so I'm going use barrel pivots with screws.

There is no beginning,or ending,and for this we are thankful,cos now is hard enough to understand!

Going be attaching the pocket clip back on, but the hole size in the scale is 2.5mm and the hole size in the pocket clip itself is 1.6mm.  They had the pin step down in size to go through the pocket clip.  Im just going to drill out the pocket clip holes to 2.5mm and not mess with having a step down in size in a super short pin.

This is tricky cause I like the fact that it locks, I don’t like the open scales but I like the pocket clip, yet I also don’t like the new can opener thingy,, idk.. if keeping the scales because of the pocket clip, but switching out the can opener with the original design, the scissors and to top it off adding a saw, not that I really need it but I like having them,, hope everything works out!

Peened brass into the pivot of the Dragonfly blade and drilled to 3mm.  Also finished shaping the Dragonfly blade for the liner lock, tested the function and works perfect.

Got the pocket clip riveted to the scale and she's all assembled!  Blade lock works perfectly with the Spyderco blade too!

Question though.  What's this different coloration from?  Is it from the rivets and the Victorinox riveting process?

Heat from drilling rivets affected the anodization?

Eitherway very cool mod and looks like the blade requires less modifying than regular 91mm

Well, when I look at the pics on the other side, it's there too.  I drill the rivets out at low speed, it's not from heat, otherwise it would only be present on the one side.  But again, in person that weird coloration is not present.  I take these pics under multiple light sources, LED, Fluorecent, and  traditional Filament.  Maybe it's just the lighting?

I asked in another topic but only got a partial response so I'm trying my luck here: are the nail file and the package opener the same thickness in 91mm (Companion) and 93mm (Companion slim, Synergy)?
