Here are dismantled, exploded views of a Compact VSAK and an Explorer VSAK ready to be combined into a custom "Yeoman"  The blue arrows show which parts were moved over to the Compact from the Explorer to complete the "Yeoman".   The other photo shows the assembly order I used to make a modded "Yeoman".

Here are some more exploded view photos of SAKs used in my recent mod project, which was to make a "Yeoman" with a Wood Saw.  My order of assembly is from right to left  (order of disassembly was left to right) in these photos. The Compact, Ranger and Explorer were the donor SAKs.  I tried to lay out the tools in the proper orientation to each other, their placement on the springs, the proper side of each tool, nail nicks, etc.

Fascinating that there are two types of double spring design for the Executive
I would always have thought that the 74mm springs would just be scaled up versions of the 58mm springs
One set is equivalent - But the blade spring is not.

Also that double hole on the blade spring is interesting - Anyone any ideas why that is there ?    :think:
