Mods, I hope I am not breaking the rules, but is there ready a thread, or does anyone already have experience with a Massachusetts company called American Bench Craft?
THIS is how a leather sheath should be made!
https://americanbenchcraft.comI just received an old, user Victorinox Champion from The Lone Wanderer. It is a great swiss army knife for the backpack, to replace the one I gave away.
But it was encased in the sturdiest, most robust, no nonsense, get-right-to-it leather multitool sheath I have ever had the pleasure to encounter.
Allright?! This is the kind you read about. Or at least the kind you might read about in some of my posts lamenting the crappy leatherman sheaths of today.
Four (yes, that's 4) mm thick of full grain, one-peice leather construction fastened together with big 'rivets.
If this thing comes apart on you, you are probably dead from whatever hit it!
Thank you Lone Wanderer!
