I love my folding e-tool.   :tu:

Keep it in the truck in winter. Have one handy for trips on rough roads and trails. Use it out ice fishing every trip.

Consume the MRE after the storage period and post pictures and descriptions of the contents. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Farmer X SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Using EDC items randomly selected with a poker hand, post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for 4 weeks (or 30 consecutive days) Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of your EDC or a component of the EDC that got used during the course of the day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Leatherman Skeletool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of either an Axe, MT/Folding knife or Fixed blade (picked at the beginning of challenge) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a Spyderco knife for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate and contribute in Challenge thread and post a photo of a different blade each day for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK Soldier for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for thirty (30) consecutive days. I keep a Cold Steel shovel in the trunk of my Jeep.  It's rock solid and I like not having to worry about moving parts failing.

a few years on now and I can't regret getting this little shovel.  Used it once to get myself out of some axle deep snow and once to help out someone else in the same predicament.  I guess a folding version would have been fine too, but I still like the fact I'm 100% confident that I can smash this into solid ice with no chance of it failing.

I forget what it came in handy for a few weeks ago, but that one I made like 8yrs ago using a crowbar, hammer, and diamond steel, yeah it’s a little on the heavy side but did it’s job,
Oh oh, the neighbor was complaining about some funky plant that has been growing up the dividing fence, and it comes up on my side so he asked if I could do something, so I used it to saw and rip most of it, then dig as far down to try and chisel up as much of the roots as I could,
Hey shovel worked, kinda funny how you can’t remember something as short as yesterday, yet other things as clear as day years ago,,

A very handy shovel, those Cold Steels. I have one in the Jeep. Used it for some garden work the other day. Better be sure to clean and replace it before the Fall snows arrive.....  :rofl:
