Kershaw A100 Black Oxide
on: April 03, 2019, 06:18:13 PM
Currently for sale on that auction site. I didn't know a black Kershaw A-100 even existed.  The MTO Encyclopedia doesn't even mention it. Is this some kind of special factory order? It doesn't like like a homemade job with a gun bluing kit to me. Looks like it came from the factory.

Seller's photo.

I've never seen a BO A100 either, but BO isn't that hard to apply.  I don't know of any reason to think it isn't a legit factory item.

I wonder what it will sell for ?  I won't be bidding,  if anyone here wants it, have at it !

No more wondering, Thanks Greg for your thoughts.  I would have guessed this was a knock off/clone.  Pretty amazing specimen.

All the knock-offs/copies I've seen have had significant differences from the genuine A100/45516 MTs, mostly in the components.
