Any ideas on how to remove this text? Scratching with a nail won't do anyting…

I had some Learhermans bougjt second hand with engravings on them. Some deeper and some lighter.
I used sandpaper, 800grit and upper and than slight polish. Either way, you will remove the engraving yet the finish will not be the same as from factory, just so you know

Hmmm, hoped to get it off with some 'soap' like stuff (I have no idea how to say that in English).
Grinding is not an option…

400 grit Sandpaper followed by finer to match the finish. Sand in straight lines following the factory finish. I did this with a LM Mini that I got and you can't tell there was a logo ever there.

:iagree: You could also use a bit of polishing compound at the same time to speed it up... If you can't get something like Autosol, anything that you can use to clean a ss sink will work... even tooth paste, but that will be sticky... and minty... it does work though.

Btw, it's been laser'd on, so it won't scrape off.

Steel wool might be an option. I use the extra fine type for fading black oxide. You may need at least a medium grade though.

Dremel at low speed with a sanding disc. Follow by 800grit sand paper by hand. Works fast and easiest.

I spend a good deal of time making BO finishes darker and more even. I may have a problem.
