I have a Core who suffers from the same loss of a locktab. It was there when sheathed and gone when I wanted to use it the next time.
I need to send it in and not store it in a box for another year I think...
But the shops around here do tell me no receipt - no warranty and I need to get my lazy arse up and send it stateside.
I guess I will get another Tool as a replacement, rather than a repaired Core, though.

Yes, lowtech you will probably receive a Supertool 300 :salute: that is bad that you will lose the Core but the ST300 is an awesome replacement :like:

It always bothers me that locally around the world that the warranty isn't what it should be though :-\

See you live in Germany. I had same thing in RO, witht the receipt.
I contacted Leatherman US and they solved it, no more receipt requested.
And 3y ago i sent in for warranty in DE a Surge, again had to involve Leatherman US because 1month passed and 2bruderoptics blabla have not sent the replacement.
Q? Core and Blast might do share same tab?
