Needs more sheaths!

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Whatcha need? Got them in all sizes,

colors

and materials  :D

Pouches too, for outside work and bigger, dedicated tools

Smaller sheaths for dress/formal carry, as they don't print and remain hidden and discrete  :hatsoff:

This is a great thread. Thanks for all the info, guys!
I'll post a pic of what a friend made for me later. It holds a Surge and the accessories with being as snug to the belt as possible. Quick release as well. A great concept I think will be appreciated. :)

that must be quite a sheath to look at,

Here are some photos of the sheath I mentioned. Pictured next to a traditional sheath with snap, the newer design uses magnetic flaps.

The next iteration will have a stitched back for the belt, which will reduce the thickness even further.

Nice sheaths there, mate. Did your friend make them both?

Thanks, AW!

He did. The brown one was version 1 and the black one is version 2. He is currently working on a version 3 with finer leather work. The first and second ones were quick throw togethers, but have performed admirably, especially the second one that I've used for quite some time(pics were from the first day I used the second version. :)

Leather looks thick, stitching very solid, and those snap buttons inspire confidence and secure closing  :like: :like:

Doesn't the black one ride too high on the waist? I awlways prefer my sheaths to be flush with my belt in height, so they don't dig into my love handles when I sit or bend.

It has a similar belt-rise as a typical Gerber or SwissTool sheath. I'd prefer it to ride a tad lower, but it gives me a reason to not put more weight on.  :ahhh

I do need to add that I usually don't carry the huge Surge in it. The Surge makes it even higher, but the normal tool in it is a TTi that rides much better.
