Some great SAKs there CeHo! I have the Vic branded S54, but with 10 layers, quite a handful. I think the S557 a little more practical?  :dunno:

The S557 is a great tool - love the set and carried on for 2-3 months, but it wasn’t good enough. I came back to my unbeatable EDC love LM Sideclip + Vic Grip S18...

Sideclip is a special LM, I need to get a 2nd so I can keep the one I have in new condition, but they are rare tools to find where I live. S28 is a cool SAK with a good essential tool load. I can see why this pair is your favourite.  :like:

Yes, I tried out so many sets and combinations but in the end the Sideclip + S18 (yellow grip) is 90% of the time in my pockets  :D There were a lot of other great tools and knives in my pockets. For example the Spyderco Spydercard and a Vic Safari Solo...

P.S.: Let me know if you need a NIB Sideclip, we will find a way  ;)

Little known fact: Magentus's house is the only one in the world that is actually haunted by Swiss Army Knives... They drift through the walls, clicking their backsprings restlessly, doomed to debate for all eternity the big questions in life: Phillips or Corkscrew, 84mm vs 91mm, Cellidor vs Alox, and the merits of the Swiza Tick Tool.

Don't remind me. Of all the U boats on offer I had to choose the haunted one. Course, it could be pabs playing silly buggers with me so he can inherit the Boat and all my lovely tools but he claims innocence.

If anyone finds me gibbering in a corner, mumbling about dread Cthulhu and the eternal wastelands of purgatory please make sure pabs doesn't go unpunished

In answer to the big questions, Corkscrew (but in-line philips), 93mm, alox as long as it's accompanied by a 58mm for the T&T and No merit.
