Buck 560 reblade

Just used my last Buck 110 blade on an old & worn Buck 560 from a friend of mine.
Had to use the old backspring as i'm all out of new ones, but luckily i still had a new blade, a pivot pin, and a bronze bushing.
The new pivot pin wasn't riveted with a hammer, but pressed using a vise and a little home made tool.
Pressing lessens the chances of damaging the handle plus it allows for a more precise tightening of the pivot, in this case to a 99.99 % bladeplay-free action.

Post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month. Start a new thread and post a photo of the multitool for seven (7) consecutive days. Participate  in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a LM Pocket Survival Tool for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of an Axe for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of a traditional folder for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with photos of your slasher/chopper/machete knives in use Start a new thread and post a photo of the keychain for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread with a photo showing the Swiss Army Knife   Toothpick being used in an unusual way. Start a new thread and post a photo of a fixed blade for thirty (30) consecutive days.

Great save on a very desirable knife. I had a model 186 which was the take down version of the 560 and it served me well. About half the weight of a 110 and very comfortable to use.
