Took some more pictures yesterday.

I'm using a Sony RX100 point-and-shoot that I purchased in 2012.  I set it on automatic and sequence, focus on the feeder, and hold the button down when I hear buzzing  :D
Then I sort through 100's of photos in the evening...

That last pic looks like a ruby throat.

Also,  A feeder inside the house?!  :ahhh.
No hummers, but Eastern Bluebirds migrating, stop for water and a snack of mealworms that I float in the water.
sorry about the screen. This picture is from a couple weeks ago.  Have had a steady stream of visitors since.

Yes it does.  We don't get Ruby-Throat hummingbirds out here though.  It's a Rufous.
It's interesting how the colour of them changes depending on the angle of the light.  Same bird in both photos.

I haven't seen any hummingbirds here yet, but I think I will get my feeder out just in case in the next day or two.

I still need to take a picture but I did finally get a feeder.  I set it up this past weekend and while I see hummingbirds they didn't go to the feeder.  I moved it to my apple tree and still nothing.  Just the other day I moved it again and and voila.  Now I've got a few that battle to feed.  I only got one and should have got 2 possibly 3.  I can hear them out there even before I got the feeder so its nice to provide a bit of nectar for them.

Ive been inspired to now make a hummingbird bath.  I think I may have mentioned this but I live near a protected wetland area with lots of birds.  Folks from all over the county come with their telescopic lenses.  I have one of the larger trees in my neighborhood so we get a lot of song birds in it.

I've thoroughly enjoyed them and the hummingbirds.  Thanks for posting this thread.

For me, my feeders went out right after Mother’s Day, and on the first Thursday Hummers were farting in and out gor a day, then no more visitors. The first ones I speculated to be migrating and stop for a recharge.

Since that weekend, only one or two a day. I starting to think I have to many  flowers hanging.

Trying to take photos with phone just isnt gonna work  :-[.  I was watering and decided to put the hose on mist and see what happened.  I still have yet to make the bath BUT the hummingbird that is frequenting the feeder took a bath  :woohoo:.  It was adorable.  It was so awesome.  I can hear it "chirping" now and see it feeding.  I'll set up my hose again so it can bath away all that sticky nectar.  I sat and watched for a while.  It was so neat and relaxing.

2 liters of nectar down.  Just made a second batch.  I don't know if its the same bird or several.  I've seen a red throated shiny green back ( Allen's ? ) bird back and forth day multiple times a day.  I'm really enjoying catching it sitting on the feeder sipping away.  I'll work on its bath so it can bathe during the warmer days.

Turns out there are at least 3 individuals.  The other day as I had to refill I sat outside just to enjoy the day.  I saw what appeared to be some jousting going on till I watched more closely.  It appeared 2 birds were "playing" or mates.  They sat at the feed at one point and fed.  Then they move to my large tree ( avocado ) to relax.  Lots of chirping as they sit next to each other.

Then a 3rd bird enters the picture but this time it appears to be chased off.  I can hear them then make different noises as the first pair continue to sit in the tree over looking the feeder.  Its interesting to sit and watch them.

Later in the day a large bird perched on the feeder tho it swung side to side from it weight.  I chased it off as the humming birds chirped away.

Tonight made an effort to capture some pictures.
Just had my bay window glass replaced due to a broken seal so view is now clearer.

From my count I could see 6 different Ruby Throated Hummers fighting to eat at the two feeders I have.

Here are a couple of pictures
