CeHo is a Tough Guy and Santa
on: April 18, 2019, 03:06:09 PM

So to start, Mr. CeHo with the outstanding MT collection, has been one of the nicest and coolest dudes to communicate with/buy from(which everyone should check out his sale threads. Best prices around). And recently, I contacted him about a Schrade OG 1st version ToughTool, to which he responded attentively as usual, but with a twist. He offered to send one as a gift. I was absolutely excited and am even more excited to see how amazing the example he sent across the globe is. :woohoo:

CeHo,

Thank you again!

Oh, and this wouldn't be complete without photos. :)

Arrived still adorned in the factory oil.

OCD prevailed and the TT got a fresh coat of oil.

The OG 1st gen ToughTool sure makes the TT collection awesome. It is also the only OG TT in the collection with box and papers. :)

Pontificating particularly pious positions pertaining to polymorphic paraphernalia. G-Man.

You're quite welcome. Your attentiveness and kindness are admirable. Thank you for that.
And the awesome reply is much appreciated as well.  :salute:

The OG V1 ToughTool is just amazing. Not a tool I imagined would adorn the collection back when the collecting began, because of how rare they are. The gifted TT feels like a door to the past. I would have been 11yo when it was produced and remember looking at multi tools in the stores back then and thinking I'd never own one. The journey it took is quite awesome as well. Shipped from the Schrade factory in the 1990s to who knows where, and it found its' way to Germany, where you eventually acquired it. Then, with your RAK, it was gifted back across the world 23 years after it was made, but looking like it is fresh off the shelf at one of the stores I saw ToughTools at as a kid. Very cool. :)
