Made a new wallet this weekend. Wanted a slim one for the front pocket with the option to attach a chain. Here is the result:

It has 3 card slots, two of which can be used with 2 cards if needed. The backside has an opening for cash.
'Phoenix' is not a reference to the city, but to the creature of Creek mythology. Serves as a reminder to me that you should always get back up, never back down, and never give up.

I dyed the leather to a medium brown, but left the middle layer and the chain loop natural on purpose. I liked the looks of it  :)

Your sewing is perfect!! I’m a novice hobby leather worker, and can really appreciate the work put into these! I think it’s an ingenious and beautiful idea of putting leather in the sun color!! Did you do that before or after sealing the leather?

We NEEEED a leather club thread!! Show off your custom made leather work please!!
I want to do this ingenious addition idea by Myron!! Whom Also does awesome leather work!! :o

Thanks guys!  :hatsoff:

The sewing on the front looks good, but I messed up the holes on the backside, so there are two bumps in the sewing line
Which is why i did not take photos of that  :D

I do not really seal the leather, I only apply leather conditioner to give it moisture. Before I put it in the sun I added a small amount. The summer sun here gave it a nice sun burn in those few days though, so I added two more rounds afterwards.
