Now we're talking! This really needs to be built.  I'm surprised LM really hasn't made a tool built like a Bear Jaws or SwissTool yet.  Of course, I think the reason we got the Wave was those two tools.   The OHT is really lacking to me, being as the tools were so short. I handled one in a gun store (and I really liked how everything was set up), but couldn't get past the short everything on it.

It's still nail knick driven, after the novelty wears off u will probably still use a spirit or Swiss tool and have better ergonomics.

Not if this thing was $65 or something. Plus better pliers and wire-cutters.
Also, the ergonomics of the Rebar are quite good. If the handles were inverted, like in the pic, then using the pliers would be on par with the Spirit, I'd imagine.

Are nail-nicks bad now? I've never had an issue with my Rebar, Wave, Charge, Core etc. or my SAKs. But again, if they released a version of the Rebar with inverted handles, it would not take much to have thumbstuds or something to make the main tools oho.

I don't have problems getting the tools out on a Rebar as it is now  I have a Spirit and a Swisstool and always pick a LM up over them....... So I doubt making the tools on a Rebar even easier to access would make me put it down in favor of either of those

I have the diamond file in one of mine and I use the adapter for the Phiilips, so I am happy with my compromise  :like:

I think he means that it wouldn't be a "Freebar", because it would still have nail nick access. It would be more akin to a Spirbar. Not because nicks are bad. :)
Pontificating particularly pious positions pertaining to polymorphic paraphernalia. G-Man.

Can we put Leatherman internals in Bear and Son handles? If the locking notches line up, there's your all-outside tools Rebar.
