Hello all. My new Contego in m390

Have not been around in a while and this is the first thing I've bought since then. Had been eyeballing one for a couple of years but wasn't a fan of the blue handles.

Welp guess they wanted my money because when I went to see if there was a sale they had it in grey/black.

Think I have a new favorite. My other knife in m390 a 484 Nakamura. I really wanted something with a 4 inch blade for cooking and stuff  :D

It came perfect and razer sharp and only two days to get it here. My surge is still going strong as well.

Thank you all. This is the best and nicest forums for knives and tools. I won't name names but it's refreshing not to see all the toxic arguing and snobbery.

I have not checked yet but anyone know if everything on contego has some thread locker on it? Didn't know if the black class were different than my blue class 484. The 484 didn't on anything.

Guess I will probably take it apart anyway after getting some wear on the washers and set the tension again. Was just curious  :D

Update: Got bored and pulled it apart.

Was thread locker on the pivot only. Washers looked good all cleaned up and back together. Only thing that may of eventually come loose was the thumb stud, it wasn't that snug, it got some locktite along with everything else.

All screws are the same length other than the ones on the pocket clip, they are longer and easy to notice the difference.

No blood loss either  8)
