Let's Spork! [Badge request]
on: May 17, 2019, 05:51:28 PM
After chopping up a young coconut with an Axe, I pulled out my beloved Snow peak sporks to enjoy the meat while sipping the juice.

Whenever I get a chance to travel or go outdoor, these sporks will always sit in my backpack for a quick eat.  Too many times, I had cooked a yummy cup o' noodle for late night snack or really early breakfast, only to find I have nothing to eat it with. :bnghd:

And like everybody say one is none, and two is one...so I always carry two in my pack.  One for me, other for a friend, just in case. :D

(Mods, Test, please ignore!!  Just released these photo only feature two sporks in use...please see the pictures below for valid request...Many apologizes for the inconvenience  )

I love the spork!

I was just watching a video of a guy eating street food in India. He was complaining about the meager plastic spoon that came with the dish. I was thinking, "Dude...where's your spork?"

Live and learn.  :tu:

Hey, Nix!

I agree, too often we rely on all the plastic wares, and if I could contribute to the preservation, I figured I could as least have my sporks with me wherever I go.

Let's Spork2 [the real Badge Request]   :salute:

Third spork, Vargo Ti, comes from my cookware kit, where it always rest in Snow Peak Ti Pot.  I can't think of a better excuse for a late night instant noodle eat, none other than using your sporks for a MTO badge request!  :woohoo:

Cool thing about this Vargo Ti Spork is that not only it folds in half, but the little metal slide(with the 'Titanium' engraved) could slip down towards the head, and lock the handle into place.  I always thought it was kinda cool whenever I get to use this spork. :tu:

Another favorite late night/travel eat of mine is the freeze dried foods by Mountain House.  It's definitely some of the best eat one could ask for whenever restaurants are closed, practically gourmet food whenever and wherever.  Oh, almost lost my point there, honorable mention, not quite a spork but it's my favorite tool for eating out of those freeze dried package, is the Sea-to-summit long spoon.  I think they must have made it for eating these package because every other spork/spoon just don't have enough reach to scoop the food out from bottom. :tu:

They are really handy, especially when you are travelling/camping and just want to eat instant food.
