Day 4:

Just getting my day started. Was going to use the modded PX to cut up some bacon. But I was concerned to the use of acid washed blades for food prep.

Any thoughts??

Day 4

Some great pictures so far.  Although, I would have no clue how safe acid washing is for working with food.

My Pioneer X was used to open a package containing a new knife.  I was so happy because it arrived early.

Nice pics so far. Yeah, I’m not sure about my blade being food safe. I’ll play with it and see if I see any rub off.

I got thinking about this and I would think that it was safe.  With it also being on the can opener, which can come in contact with food while opening.

Day 4 part 2

The Pioneer X assisted in emergency pet toy repair.  The neck squeaker of my dog’s favorite toy failed and I had saved a working one from a previous toy where the body squeaker failed.  The toy is fixed and dog is happy.

Nice uses and pics everyone!

kamakiri DAY 4:

Did a bunch of stuff today. Changed wiper blades, box cutting for recycling, light kitchen work (which I don't normally use my 91mm knives for), mail call duty.

Also gathered some roses from the garden and cut the stems under water this morning:

Day 5

Package opening again, new strings for the guitar. The flat drivers also came into play because after removing the old strings it turned out that the tailpiece screws became extremely loose, the large one helped with that, the small one was used for adjusting, fine tuning the bridge after the new strings were put on.

kamakiri DAY 5:

Miscellaneous light use in the kitchen today and did the scoring on this sourdough:

...Smurf it!  just realized I didn't take any pics today of the PX!  ::)

...or I guess just one!  :D

Scissors definitely come in handy.

Very cool bread design.

I also find the scissors very handy.  The bottle opener and scissors are probably my most used SAK tools.
