Day 30:

Snuck my phone into the shop to show the door edge films I’m installing. Grabbed a couple pics but then a supervisor came up so had to stop.

Here you guys are already posting day 31 and I just finished day 30.  It's been another great Challenge and I am honored to have been a part of it.  Thanks everyone..
Now here is the other side of those ice cream snacks you guys have been posting.   Explorer helped disassemble a dipping cabinet to thaw it out.

thanks Sos24.
and thanks to all the other guys who "played",i apologise for not responding much,it's a busy time for me at work, and my boss is an smurfhole.
i can carry what i want, theres no dress code,i can smoke while working.

this was quite interesting.
i did sign up for the fixed blade challenge but will probably have to pull-out.

last pic from me,comparison between the Explorer and an older Champ [my 1st,i acquired a few weeks ago].
i would have preferred a longer Phillips like on the Champ.
my son has a current production Champ, but i forgot to compare it with that.

No worries there Humayd the important thing is you did take part and shared some interesting stuff you did with your Explorer. Half the fun is never knowing quite what everyone else gets up to. Being jealous of where Nix happens to be and what he's got on the menu - that's just a bonus

Nice looking old Champ too.  :like:

Glad you enjoyed.  The main part is having fun and maybe learning something about what you like/dislike or how others use theirs.

Great use.  I’ve seen some of the inner workings of different ice cream machines, but now just appreciate that I can have the snack without having to worry.  Maybe I need to go enjoy some now.

Comis - Glad I could remind you and enjoy the fixie challenge.

Your GITD scales, especially the ones you made are very nice.  Seeing them, I’ve thought about how it might work if a tritium vial was embedded into a clear translucent scale and then the rest of the scale treated with a GITD paint.  I wonder if the tritium, depending on the size, would help charge the GITD and between the two make it brighter.

You and I are exactly thinking along the same line...that's up and coming, might be my third GITD project.

August 30 & 31 - Still working on my farm to finish up cutting and bailing hay, pictured is the Explorer on the tractor. The Explorer is with me assisting in cutting bailing twine and doing standard duties like opening mail, etc. Hope to finish today and  to attend a regional gun and knife show tomorrow to search for older Swiss Army Knives.

I’m sure one probably will be made for us?  I hope we’d get a yellow explorer badge since quite a few of us were using yellow Explorer, but am grateful for anything.

Day 31 and some post opening is all today but just great to keep the Explorer going. And her we are with my INOX Titanium watch. I just love the love the movie clip of this watch:

https://www.victorinox.com/uk/en/Products/Watches/I-N-O-X-Titanium/collection/tp-collection/timepieces_collection_WAT-C2623

I can only wonder how many out takes they have of watches going up to the edge of space only to land in trees, back gardens, motorways, beer gardens etc
