Day: 03 (bonus material)

:ahhh  I claim first hook use photo!!!!  :ahhh

(Image removed from quote.)

Hook got used to snag some iced-tea tea bags from the drink.  :tu:

I was making "sun tea" and the tag ends fell in.   Fortunately, I had tied them all together, so the dramatic rescue was fairly straightforward......  :D

Time to refresh my Hook Badge!
A good save!  :tu:

Day 3--What in the heck is that tiny writing on this model wrecker?  I'm glad Matchbox finally reintroduced the Western Star. I wasn't paying $25 for them on the secondary market. Scored this one about a month ago at my Walmart for a whopping $5. Whanted them to do it in a Jamie Davis Motor Truck livery, but the generic one isn't half bad.   Outside of warning labels, I haven't seen "Keep Hands and Loose Clothing Away From Moving Parts" in big letters as it is on this truck. To me, if you're running farm equipment, or even a big wrecker, it should be common sense.

Miniatures and SAK magnifiers come in handy. Especially when reading markings.  As an around the house or town EDC, the Explorer is right at home. Stuff I actually use for that stuff.

I've got the fresh from the garden radishes...
DAY 3
...

to go along side those K'Bobs and we can wash 'em all down with a big glass of that wonderful Sun Tea.  Just need a few more of those Snicker's Ice Cream Bars for dessert.

Day 3

Great uses everyone! I Had plans to do a lot of things today but the day seamed to go a different direction. I did end up hanging SAK rack #2 were the Explorer did come in handy.

Depending on how you look at it, this is either bonus Day 3 or Day 4

Earlier morning snack.  The Explorer helped me open the pretzels and beer

Day 4: A busy day for us!  Everything from repairing a kitchen cupboard to installing a rail on a staircase to cutting a piece of torn trim from the undercarriage of Mrs Rowland's car.  Finished up with a Yuengling!

I, too, love a good radish. Especially with a little salt. Mrs Nix, however, does not. I've found that men are more likely to like radishes more than women.

I don't understand this observation. Anyone else see this? Or is my sample size too small to be making generalization?
