Day 16

Can't believe we are more than half way done, this challenge is easier than I thought.  I switch to a SG explorer and open a can of soup for breakfast.  I grew up using the can opener the 'wrong' way, rotating the can counterclock wise instead of clockwise.  I still have a hard time switching it the other way.  I guess the bonus of using it the 'wrong' way is that I might have a easier time to use the combo tool to open can?

Day 15

I didn’t do to much today but I did smoke a tri-tip. Mrs Mike56 made some smoked chicken enchiladas beans and rice. I did use my Explorer to cut the enchiladas and to cut the tri-tip.

I also used my Explorer to help heat some scales mine does not have a hook so I used the awl and a safety pin.

i need to repair the side mirror mount on my truck,so,naturally,i used the in-line phillips  :D

The 90 deg position is one of the reason why inline phillips is so good. :tu:

Day 15. Was helping put new vanities in the bathroom (old ones, being mostly particleboard, broke, along with their medicine cabinets); so I had to go full on industrial with what I packed. Given as I'm becoming more and more a minimalist, this is pretty much overkill with this much.  Used both blades for cutting, and the cap lifter to scrape off a scratcher covering the code from a gift card that was given as credit for returned merchandise, since it needed to be used on plumbing components. Also used the mag lens to make sure I got all the rust off my SwissTool's file (back early in the summer, I'd lost it on the porch, mistakenly left it outside overnight during a rainstorm, and the file got rust splotches) when I cleaned it using a file card.

Knipex 125mm Cobras, Duluth Handiman, Explorer, Schrade USA 34OT, SwissTool (mostly as backup), and my old Kobalt Utility Knife (or its secondhand backup that came in a lot; since mine is now showing as much wear from use as was the used one when I got it). And that doesn't count my Bic pen, my Olight i3EOS or Berol pencil.

(Image removed from quote.)
Tool day for sure!

It works to get the ice cream out easily and cleanly.

Highly recommended.

You're lucky. My truck, despite being a 1998, is Torx everything.
Mine is a 97 Toyota Hilux.
I'm pretty sure there's not a single torx on it.

Some great uses and pictures! I too used the in-line phillips today to replace a broken wheel on a 5 year old Victorinox Werks bag (great warranty, just called them and they sent a free replacement part).

Day 16
Rather boring so far with just opening some mail - the straggler (and most important) of the dog supplies arrived.

Then needed the magnifying glass’  assistances reading some directions
