Love it!

I regularly dose my morning eggs with Tabasco!   :tu:  Few things in life can't be improved with a good shot of Tabasco.  :tu:

I think it is a military thing in general.  Our Wardroom tables usually had 2-3 different hot sauces to choose from and were frequently used.  You knew the meal was especially bland if people were grabbing for the black label Texas Pete.

I’m more a Texas Pete person, but completely agree that a good hot sauce can improve most things.  I keep a small bottle in my travel bag so I have some with me whenever I’m out of town.

Day 22

When I was outside doing some yard work, I realized that the latch plate for the gate needed tightening, so inline phillips to the rescue.

I also used the hook to aid in cleaning out the sink drain after cleaning up but decided not to take a picture of that nastiness.

Just cut up some genoa salami and jalapenos to go in the shells and cheese my son made but forgot a pic.  So here's one for a Coke and a smile.

A man after my own heart. I keep a small bottle of Tabasco and a tiny jar of Cajun seasoning with me wherever I travel. Even deployed, I'd still have a bottle of Tabasco with me--was always bummed out that they stopped putting those tiny bottles in MRE's. What morale-killer made that decision?

Day 23, in my diecast hobby, I went completely overboard today.  Used the scissors a bit for those using clam pack, and the pen blade to cut the bubble on the clam pack of one, and the tape on another's box.

Clam pack is heck on earth. But ,I've found a seatbelt cutter/rescue hook always makes quick work of the stuff. I often have some form of it close on hand, and I always carry this Benchmade 8 on my farm pack in the Ontario ASEK cutter sheath (as while the cutter itself is poor, it's sheath is a lot better than the Benchmade's) for cutting myself, or livestock out of sticky situations. I swear, the Benchmade hooks are the best, and safest package opener there is around. No matter what it is, they zip right through it. They will cut decent sized rope in one pass.  Through surplus outlets, they're often under $20 brand spankin' new.
