Can opener on a small frame (58 or 65mm)

The one tool I find I need the most is a can opener. I always have my Minichamp with me on my keys and a SOG Sync II belt buckle... but neither of those have a can opener. Do any of the small keychain sized knives have one?

I don’t want that. I don’t use a lanyard. Maybe I’ll mod something in from a cheap tool if there’s nothing available.

I'd imagine the pins wouldn't be up to the task

. I don't recall seeing a mod done with a can opener on the smaller SAKs. On a side note tho, thats what makes it fun, you carry a slightly larger SAK with can opener, 84mm perhaps?

The P-38 is the original multitool. It make a great scraper, Phillips driver, flat screw driver, light pry tool, bottle opener, and even opens cans. Folds flat and fits in a wallet.

No can openers on 58 mm or 65 mm knives. Smallest knife with a can opener is either Bantam (if you are OK with the combo tool) or Cadet (if you prefer the standard can opener).

I've been carrying an Alox Bantam in my wallet, where it pretty much disappears unless/until needed.

I have a Wenger Waiter, which is 85mm instead of the Bantam's 84mm... it's just too big for my keys. I like a more minimalist approach. And I wanted something I could mod into my mini champ, honestly.

Same length as the Minichamp, carbon steel, certainly not the same quality but it does have a can opener (old style). I have one.

Obviously they are about the same length, but you might be pleasantly surprised how much thinner the 84 mm alox knives are than the Waiter.

I know, sounds nuts, but lots of knives came from the factory with a working can opener. Richards and Imperial both made quite small knives with them.
