Day 26
My day was spent laying/sitting with a heating pad, so no use for the Ranger.

(Image removed from quote.)

I bet it was great company anyways!

Day 27:

Opened  up an old box. That pointy point and the false did the tape work; edge stayed clean and free of sticky stuff.

Day 27 - the 112 is a great letter opener as I prepare to tackle reporting my income for the year 2019. To bad my knife addiction is not an allowed deduction!
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Would be great of it was.  All edc tools should be, because they’re emergency preparedness.  Now I’m thinking, I wonder if during the hurricane preparedness tax free day if flashlights, multitools and knives would count:think:

Day 27

I come to really like these 112 Slims. Ordered a OD Green one this morning. Hope it gets here in time for a least one day of the challenge.

I’ve really enjoyed the Slim Pro and after seeing all the different colored Slims popping up, I just ordered my first.

Me too David, really like mine a lot !

I've been tempted to try and drill a lanyard hole in mine.

You could probably use some type of small eyelet held on by one of the belt clip screws, then you wouldn’t have to drill a hole.  Could always check Home Depot the next time you go need some apples.

This challenge is going too quickly  :ahhh
Great challenge everyone

:agree:

Don’t rush it.   I just ordered a slim.

Day 28

Ranger helps with the morning coffee, while I sit down with my newly stripped BK2 with micarta handle.   Can't believe it's already day 28, this challenge goes a little quicker than I expected.

Yet another good use for the false edge, but I don't know I could learn this new trick...it's against every grain of my programming to 'reverse' cut anything, one of the rules I prescribed myself is "every knife is a slipjoint".

Awesome and good luck!  You know one of the best feeling in college is--when you finished all your finals, sitting on a couch doing nothing while watching your classmates still strapped to the tables preparing for theirs...
