Way to go SOS, that will be a light 112. Did you find Red or Black?

I am know conflicted, G10 is my choice for 112, Slim or Traditional, oh my!

The seller was calling it “plum”.  It looked brown in the photos.  I’ll post photos when I get it.

Congrats Sos   mine is the plum too and i love it, love it so much i have a green 110 on route, well it's the MTO way   my only regret is not buying one when they were cheap, i would have got the 112 and 110 in both green and plum then had i known about them

Do we know the production dates for these ? mine seems to be 2009

Thanks
I was wondering how it would feel as the cuts look like your fingers would wrap around it nicer. Is that the case??

I think so Ray, it is a very comfortable hold but i don't have a traditional 112 to compare,  i'm guessing it feels the same as the trad 110 though, which i find comfortable anyway so..not sure :D

The Ranger Ecolite arrived today.  I was surprised by how light it was despite its size and thickness.

Now I’m ready for the challenge.

Ranger Challenge!
Reply #71 on: August 30, 2019, 10:55:26 PM
A new Ranger found its way to my mailbox this week.

I wanted upgraded steel, I wanted G10 or Micarta scales, and then I had it down to TWO!

Never heard of this model “Pro Plus”.

Then selected-

A Ranger 112 Slim Pro Plus, w/G10 scales, Red Micarta Liners, and S35VN steel.
Enjoyed EDCing my 112 Slim (Red), so now I can rotate and color coordinate.

PS: Now I am out of money.

Thanks.  The G10 scales are nice, allowing for good grip, not as glamorous as a traditional 112, yet I plan this to be user.

I try for better outdoor pictures with better light.

Very cool Ranger, LC!  And in S35V?  That puts it right over the top.   :ahhh

I will say, the more I use Buck's 420HC, the more I like it. I'm always drawn to fancy steels like S30V and S35V, but Buck's 420HC is a real joy to use and sharpen.  :tu:

Buck does some limited series for some dealers. So, I'm speculating a bit.....but I think that's what it means.

I have a numbered Buck somewhere myself........I think it is also a Ranger.  I'll see if I can dig it out.

I understand it is a limited addition offered by Copper & Clad.  When ordered, I thought I read 4 or 5 remaining, so the run may have been 25 pieces.  The Buck labeled box was dated for manufactured 6/13/19.

A also purchased a 110 LT drop point from them some time last year that was maybe 10 (of a 100 unit run)

The most recent  email details a 112 Finger groves, drop point.
