Oooh....that looks fabulous, Borg.

That water looks fishable.........

I guess it is, they say when you take a child fishing for the first time it's quite important the child catches a fish, i was that child that caught a big fat nothing so i lost interest very soon afterwards, i haven't fished for years  :)    It goes the other way too though, my nieces used to forever bug me to take them out metal detecting, poor girls must still think there was a massive coin spill in the fields round my house   ;)

:iagree:  you live in a beautifiul place !

Borg, that's beautiful country you live in!

Thanks guys, i feel the same way about other outdoor pics posted here, i guess when you see your own every day you get used to it, it's nice to see other peoples landscape  :tu:

Great photo!  :like:
Bad weather rolling in?

Yep, snow storm coming in off the hill :tu:

Some really nice pictures and uses so far today.

Thanks for all the well wishes for Fisher.  He is already starting to feel better.  It is nothing serious, most likely just the drastic weather changes.  Like some people, he gets all phlegmy and congested.

Day 13
Used the Ranger to get some Apple Bread, a package and a bag of special dog food.  The dog food is usually only a topper, but it and a little chicken was used to entice Fisher to eat a little.

Strongnoodle......uh.......that looks ....... :o.....great.......

Its actually pretty good. A big jolt of hydration after mouth-breathing in a CPAP all night dreaming about Swisstool Spirits, and the power of Green to shock the system into action.   It has a slight seaweed finish, which may result from the chlorophyll.  Who knows.

It was the green!  I remember.  A member’s insides were shocked awake, and whoever did not assume the position quick enough.
Power wash was required!!!

Day 13: Feed Run.  Extensive work like this is making me want to spring for the S30V version. Today, I paid off two bills I'd been paying on for over a year (medical), and then learned my tuition for this semester at the local community college was covered through aid. Thus, I'm really thinking about celebrating with a Pro. But, the reasonable thing to do, is simply use it on postage to send my Kershaws off for sharpening (bought several used ones lately, most with chipping and blunt edges, plus those I already have aren't much better), as well as my 440C 112 to have a new blade put in (old is used up), as well as my 303 and 105 to be sharpened.

Opened four sacks of sheep feed. That was the easy part--throwing them in the garden cart, dragging garden cart to barn, and then unloading the feed sacks was the real work.

Then, opened the chicken feed.

Good use!  That lead me thinking what other use for the false edge?  I know people keep saying it 'thrust' better, I think I gonna approach Borg to see whether that's true.

If that theory applies, does it mean you gonna start burying a large spill of gold coins around your house now?  :pok: :D

Borg, oh, after reading Nix using his false edge to help eating, I got a question for you--folks often say knife with false edge "punctuate" better...I rather stab with my knife, but do you notice any difference when thrusting them into the trees?

Good use for a solid work!  I think if I were you, I too would probably use it on the postage and mail them all out to breathe new life into the blades.  Unless it's a bigger upgrade to nicer blade steel, the slim pro probably is a nice cosmetic upgrade with lesser weight, but won't improve much in cutting performance.

I've used a false edge as a scraper a few times. Not a habit for me, but on occasion. I sharpened the false edge on a Kabar USMC utility knife. That was useful for light chopping. I'm sure there are other uses, too.
