there's more multitools after Carleigh needed one to get a fishhook out of her hand and didn't have one. :-) They also can't start with barbed fishhooks. Wonder if you can fashion barbs later? Heat the ends of the hooks red hot, hold in the Crunch, pound the end flat between a couple of rocks, file the barb and the point after it cools down? Also, you can only take 25 hooks, but nothing is said about what size they have to be. So why not take big ones, cut them in half, shape them into 2 hooks each, and use the mt and the snarewire to make 16 treblehooks? For use as trotlines and for catching birds, the treble is better, especially if you're not allowed to have barbs, eh? I can think of a way to use springy forked sticks to set the hook, and could make bait bags out of chunks of tarp, to make the critter bite right where the treblehook is hidden. Bound to increase your catch.
