Hello Mod Squaders,

I recently found out about MTo while trying to figure out the best SAK for me to pocket carry.  I’ve been using SAK’s for years, mostly Explorers and a Huntsman, but usually carried them in a belt pouch or backpack.  I was hoping to find something a little smaller without giving up functionality.

I found invaluable information here at MTo and at SAKWiki.  There are so many people here who are generously sharing their experience and information.  Posts here inspired me to try my first mod, and create a custom “Yeoman” (3 layers instead of 4 might just do it for me).

Following your instructions and examples along with some YouTube videos, I was able to make a pretty good “Yeoman”.  I used a Compact and an Explorer as donors.  I put on black plus scales.  All the tools and blades still have that great VSAK snap sound to them when closing.

Anyway, please accept this post as a great big “thank you!”

I also did put the mag/phillips on mine in center as I wanted the mag to be in a safer place and the phillips driver in center.
