in so many ways I think the T4 mights be just the right combination of tools, pricepoint, and deployment to be a real winner imo. Fully one handed, in line Awl and philips, all locking, one handed blade...yea..this actually seems legit competition for the SAK.

I do like the looks of that T4 and would love to try it out, I just hope retail price over here will not be way out of proportion like on the Free P4  :-\.

I am really interested in the T4 as well. I just hope they are not as bulky as they look like. Maybe it just looks like that in the photos  :dunno:

Just watched the video. Did someone else notice the cut in the scene where they use the awl to make a new hole in the belt?
I hope that doesn‘t mean it took longer than expected because of that stupid screwdriver tip of the awl... :ahhh

Not for me, because the SAK scissors so dominate Leatherman in fine, detail work like skin boo boos and anything requiring precision.  So I might pair a T2 with a Manager or Compact.

The T2 has been of interest to me since introduced.

I will wait to see if it will be stocked by any retailers, not an item I will likely order online unless a very low price point.

Yet another guy interested in the T2 here. Looks like a really interesting knife, but I have a very weak intuition about how it actually will work in my hand. So, one of the few products I'm currently genuinely curious about having little opinion about whether it will work for me or not.

I ordered a T4 from Amazon (USA), but it hasn't yet arrived.  Wish Leatherman would offer a version for left handed people.

Yeah, I'm curious how the scissors will perform. Personally I am happy to see Leatherman start making some tools without the bulky pliers (which are seldom used in my case). The T4 looks promising to  me.

Wish Amazon had them in stock when I placed my order at lunch.

Oh well, I should get my T4 by early next week instead of Thursday.

Going to have fun testing this out. Been waiting for it since Jan/Fed when they release the info on the Free series.

Still waiting a chance to get my hands on P4, but this T4 is just as interesting.  Hope local dealer will get them soon enough...

Except the Blade, seems all the tools have same tang as P2 and P4. This means that we'll have some sort of spareparts availability in teh future when the price will drop.
Unfortunately...same tools, i wished something new, or more diversity so i can customise my P2. I'll skip this one , i leave it for the early adopters

I have hopes for the scissors based on early feedback of the p series. The T4 has loads of space for possible customization which I really like. It definitely seemed smaller in the earlier videos. Think about this tool for women... It doesn't damage nails, has loads of useful locking tools and fits easily in any purse. Vic had yet to make anything that doesn't require nail Nick's. This might be the very first tool if it's kind because if that.

I would love to see more pics of it  :pok:

     ;)

I like what I see so far, this might get a top spot on my "wanted tools" list   :D.

I've read that it might cost around 80 Euro over here, but the Crater and Expanse knives were also not the cheapest knives over here, and I love those.

I've just found the T4 for £74.95 GBP which is, $83.75 EU or $95.25 USD. They are shown as in stock, with free delivery (presumably UK only) at

https://www.cyclaireshop.co.uk/swiss-army-knives/leatherman-free-t4-multi-tool?gclid=EAIaIQobChMI1pa81cCJ4wIVxrTtCh1SVQRUEAYYASABEgL0hfD_BwE

However, on other websites they are shown at £89.95 which is, $100.46 EU or $114.26 USD but are on back-order? We really do get ripped off by LM here  >:(

The link I posted (if it works) also seems to offer the P2/4 at about £20 GBP cheaper than elsewhere  :multi:

Might be worth a look if you're UK based (or here on holiday)  :tu:

This is my reply to another post (credit to Top-Gear-24 for the original post)

This might help with the pricing ratio (which has never gone in favour of non US residents  >:D :twak:
They don't like it up 'em!

Very cool! Hopefully they'll be something neat to add to the collection and live up to the reviews.

My T4 order is in  :tu:
Will be great to carry a Leatherman even when I don’t need pliers.
I wasn’t excited enough about the P series to replace my EDC wave.
