It was sad to see the pic of the checklist with my name so glaringly empy, so I'm going to post two pics (or more) a day as penance.

This is what I bought to the pool.

Turns out it didn't go very far at all. The tapping head has a fairly fat connector to the machining tooling which my drill thing couldn't really match. So far for thinking ahead!  ::) I hope to get it connected somehow later though. Maybe some pictures then later in this challenge. Luckily not really needed as such, but might be fun and or effective to get it doing its thing.

Oh well, there is always a next time. :D

Probably my favorite compass. Not as rugged as a mil spec lensatic compass (probably not as accurate, either), this Silva seems more pragmatic (and lighter). The mirror lets you shoot an accurate azimuth and the whole unit is fairly light and small. If I could have only one.....a Silva Trekker or Ranger would be it.

Thanks! One is an Armatus artifact, the other is a custom from Badgerclaw Leatherworks. I wasn't sure which one you meant...

This is a piece of gear that holds a lot of other gear. This truck toolbox is suspended from rails so that it is entirely under the tonneau cover when closed.
