Flickr 1K photo limit starting January 8th

I updated the app and its worse, I cant get it to upload pics to the website so I can't post pics right now

And when I try to create new password that the site is requiring now it gets hung up, maybe it needs some tweaks

And can't complain at all. I kinda liked the pre-SmugMug Flickr better, but Imgur hasn't ever given me a problem. Yahoo/Verizon really messed up big time.  That, and certain political views expressed by their journalists is why my Yahoo account is nothing but what I use for getting discounts/junk mail.

I'm trying to make an account on imgur, but I can't get past the registration screen, everytime I hit "next" the cursor goes back to user name field and I have tried multiple names that are available, getting fed up.

Then I tried to download the app and try to backdoor my way in, but I didn't have my itunes password handy so I gave up, maybe try later but it shouldnt be this hard

I found a workaround for getting flickr pics to post, but they are too small, when I preview the post they are nice and big, but when I hit post they get shrunk, gotta be a better way while the flickr site is still rebuilding

Imgur has been acting up today for some reason.  Maybe try tomorrow

In short because the website has been set up to be dynamic (desktops and mobile use) images that are hyperlinked get shrunk.
This bugged me as well.
So now I chop off the url portion of the link...

Thanks for that Zoidberg, I finally got through the imgur registration, but it took away 2 hours of my life    Must have been an issue with the site like Steve said, I was only able to view an older registration page that didnt require your phone number, once I got the newer page It wasnt sending me the confirmation text for over an hour, but nice to have a second option and I will try your edited version also

One tip for imgur, use the huge thumbnail size for the forum, This way when someone quotes your pic it doesn't get blown up to full size.
