Tradition & Modernity

Late medieval style Scottish Highland Skean
Dubh or Black Knife (hose top knife), and
contemporary Swiss folder by Victorinox.

(No, I am not in any way Scots, but I do play and
teach and compose for the Highland pipes, and other
bagpipes, have lived in Scotland, and visited many times.)

Legal carry too if you're kilted up (as long as you are not waving it about) the knife that is..

We got taught the Chanter at school but that's long forgotten, i couldn't even get a squeek out of it now

Nice blade  :like:

I've got a kilt, if that helps, and whilst I always have the best intentions of wearing it to formal occasions, it seems I can never find my long socks..

On the off chance Victorinox is reading this - I am more than happy to carry their Alox hunter pro, and recommend it to all my friends, if they would but send me a tester...

Perhaps the red alox model would go well in hose top when wearing the kilt.
