I have the urge to make an open-topped friction sheath for this one, too.  Not sure why, just seems like it might be handy.

Cleaned and waxed the sheath. I think it looks and feels pretty good.

I went a bit geeky and cleaned the rivets and snap. The front snap was gunked up a bit and hard to read. Cleaned that....then used some Flitz metal polish and a a Dremel to shine it up nicely. I don't remember them this shiny right out of the box..... ;)




Anyway, for an older PST, the sheath looks pretty good. The spa treatment has made it feel fairly supple. I may work with it a bit more, but this PST is challenge ready.   :salute:

Beautiful sheath Nix. I have an 1100 date code PST that was NIB that I recently liberated from its blister pack. Fortunately, I have a couple other PSTs and used sheath I can put to duty for the challenge, as I’d like to save this one.
