Casio is releasing a new version of the DW 5000, aka the original G Shock.

Only this new version is in metal!

Imagine an even tougher G Shock!

cool, but I like my G-shocks cheaper  (and dumber in respects to avoiding bluetooth, internet, etc).
Still love the Rangeman!
If I can help, let me know

It is indeed a tad on the pricey side for sure.  I have bought cars for less than that, and they had clocks in them.  And yes, I mean plural, because you could total up the cost of a few of them in my time and be less than $700.

Still, they are very nice looking and absolutely drool worthy!

I like them. Going to get one at some point.

You can (possibly) get another version, but you'll have to add a couple of zeros to the price.

If it’s the metal bezel you guys are after, try these upcoming models :
https://www.g-central.com/g-shock-gm-5600-with-metal-bezel/

They’re pretty bare bones I believe- no multiband, no Bluetooth.

I recently picked up a GW-B5600- basic square but it’s solar driven, has Bluetooth to connect to correct time, and multiband-capable. It’s a good daily beater that’s on a plastic chain 👍🏼

Gold isn't really my color, nor is it my preference for jewelry, so I think I will leave that one to other people.   :ahhh
