It's an awl/scraper..

It is a very nice awl... but..

I personally would prefer keeping the serrated blade. You can always put an awl into the bit exchanger.

Or... just buy a...

Same here wouldn't having a serrated knife more useful, well I guess different strokes for different folks. But ya got to admit HC it looks cool

A lot of people don't like serrated blades.. I know for a fact that Mike doesn't.. I always use serrated blades, but I suck at sharpening them.. So, maybe he was the same way- and he felt like he needed a nice awl/scraper? I don't know, but I really like the looks of it..
