Vic newbie question...
Browsing, through eBay, for  Alox 58mm's today and keep seeing some labeled "Supreme".  Can anyone splain what these are and why they're so much more than any other Alox?

Some fancy, overpriced  clothing brand I probably know no more about than you do. Regardless of what it is, people pay stupid money for anything with the label slapped on it. There was a set of Hot Wheels cars; the basic truck/car combo on it is about ten bucks at my Walmart--the Supreme version which they had made was over $100.  Pretty much the only two knives in my collection with a clothing brand on them are a Carhartt-branded Case, and an LL Bean labelled Wenger. And I did not pay anything close to what they did new.

That's nuts,  though I've got a Carhartt CASE too.  Still mine didn't cost as much as a Supreme SD does.

Must be some amazing cloths.

I think they are just a Skater clothing brand, no where even near the status of "luxury" brand.  Maybe the people feel the 'empowerment' thru the brand name?
