Looking for a Victorinox D of E

Hello All,

I've been trying to get my hands on one of the Victorinox DofE SAKs for a few years now with no luck.

I believe they have been discontinued but was wondering if any of our UK members were able to get their hands on an extra.

I would prefer new in packaging or mint condition if at all possible.

Please let me know what a reasonable price would be for one including the cheapest possible shipping to California.

I'm in Scotland and the Duke of Edinburgh is still available in some shops over here.

From memory, it's normally around the £30 mark. I've no idea what postage would be, but I'd hazard a guess it'd be around £25 (purely an educated guess).

If you're still interested, drop me a PM and if PayPal is your preferred option, I'll arrange to have a Victorinox Duke of Edinburgh sent over to you once I've confirmed the costs (brand new in the packaging, of course).

I'm happy to accept PayPal (Friends & Family payment) or if you'd rather pay via PayPal (Business / Goods payment), I won't be offended, but I would ask you to pay the additional cost to cover the PayPal costs. I believe its around 3% or so.

The last few DofE's I've sent out to America were around the 40 dollars mark (this covers purchasing and delivery), but I'll have an exact price once I've been to see the courier with your full address.

My local "Go Outdoors" store is about 30 miles away. However there's a few suppliers of Victorinox in and around where I work.

Black's, Cotswolds and Millets are good sources for DofE's too.

If you're having problems finding one locally, I could purchase one and forward it onto you.

D of E arrived today along with a very nice postcard!

I wish my handwriting was half as nice as yours. Years of computer use and working in healthcare has left me with a barely legible scrawl.

The weather here is down to a sunny 106 degrees F here (41 C) and the blazing summer sun is starting to give way to what I hope will be a nice autumn.
