More lovely knives, particularly the Golfer! Comis, sadly those Vic lanyards are not luminous - now there’s a good idea!

Nah, you are too kind with words!  I am sure you probably collect Wenger as I do,
Can't say that's me! On either account. I only have 3 Wengers...one with a 'dogleg' opener, a small one with a fine SD, and a black PTC, because I was so impressed with the fine SD.  I mean it when I say yours, Ivo's and all the Wengers have been an education on the Wenger line and I've really enjoyed seeing them!

I am grateful to be able to partake in this challenge, which give me a chance to play and review different pieces and re-organize them.  I think there exist only a few knife brand that is as prolific as Victorinox and Wenger over the last hundred years; I too do wish there is an efficient way to categorize all the unnamed models, but I think at the least, it is great that you are willing to share with us the photo of such models, so at least their existence are recorded somewhere. :tu:
Now you're being too kind!  :) Now there are so many better collectors and collections on this board that I can think of. I only wouldn't list them for risk of forgetting somebody. I do like the pretty ones, and I have some...but I collect a LOT of junk for my chronology study! That's the simple truth!

Day 26

Nice SAKs all around as just about everyday.

I didn't really have mentionable use today, household chores and making some Glögi kept me busy. I did realize a speculiarity of the 108mm design, they seem to be to only sizing larger than keyring models not to have even a light duty prying implement available.

Challenge is over soon, this has gone fast as they always seem to.

Yes it has gone by quickly...they always do when they are not one model related. I think it is the diversity of so many different models that makes it go by so fast.

Poor investment in power generation so limited spare capacity and grid often shut down in selective areas for maintenance. Called “load shedding” but simply a planned rolling black out in 4hr slots that can last for days.
Failure tonight was a tripped sub-station. Second time in so many days.
Have a 5kVa petrol gen hooked to the house, but oven draws too much so it’s either sandwiches or take out.
Life in a developing country - just one of our challenges in South Africa

People do, but going off grid is an expensive exercise. ROI is still about 5 years and the maintenance is high. No government incentives, rebates or ways to sell excess back, so most just buy a small generator.
Probably ranks 3rd behind our economic woes and high crime rate...
