Soldier 1963 in red.  This particular one has a broken awl, and those Vic awl was pretty beefy back then.  I wonder what's the story behind to make it break...

Merit Badges Participants shall carry and use one Soldier knife, the model of their choosing, for the duration of the 90 days and post a picture each day. I used the Wenger serrated Highlander to open a bag of water soluble fertilizer for my tomatoes and peppers. I planted the tomatoes a week ago and they are just starting to sprout.
