Day 06
I used the Wenger serrated Highlander to open a bag of water soluble fertilizer for my tomatoes and peppers. I planted the tomatoes a week ago and they are just starting to sprout.
That must be some pretty good fertilizer!  :like:

I appreciate that you're posting how you're using your SAKs but did you know you are supposed to post a picture every day if you're trying to get the challenge badge? We'd love to see them.

Wenger Ranger 68 - very much a user, our general purpose kitchen knife.

The large blade is perfect for almost any food prep cutting tasks, I love the talon style can opener, the corkscrew does corks of course, but made itself useful also in untying knots on plastic bags, the caplifter doubles as a prytool breaking suction on jar caps and the awl is great for punching secondary air holes on milk/juice boxes for smooth pouring.

Sees use almost ever day.

My Wenger used to cut my sandwich, before I head off to a long night at work.

The tool also has a backside Phillips and awl..

Rapidray- you’re so right! Cleaning gunk off blades is a real pain, but the awl doesn’t seem to suffer from the same affliction!

Day 6:

Uline is one of our suppliers at my job, and they give us branded stuff all the time. Usually my employer gives it away in a drawing and today I won a mag lite XL50.

Here it is posing with the EP.

I have two gripes against the typical Wengers..

No 1 and most important is the backside awl is terrible, in my opinion.

The second is no screwdriver end on the can opener. I don’t use a can opener like that so I’d rather have the screwdriver type.

Other than those two, I love Wengers!!

Uline is a very good company...it is one of the few companies that require you to do a hand writing test!
Congratulations on winning the XL50!
