Comis that Soldier is super cool with the OG carry bag!  :like:

But for me, the most beautiful today was kamakiri’s '62 Huntsman LNF. Real

Day 14
No work for the WorkChamp but I did get some time tonight to build a Mechanic CS (1.3623).

Day 14

The other day Sherry said she thought a vintage, late 50's-early 60's Camper doesn't qualify as discontinued because of the identical toolset, but I thought about this and I'd argue today's SAK fits this challenge, as

1) it has a different name: Elinox 1237U - not called Camper back then, that name came later,
2) it has similar toolset but with slightly different tools (sharpened bottle opener, clip point small blade, different shape awl, 5-turn fluted corkscrew),
3) has different shield and
4) has a bail, not in production on any model right now.

I say it is just as different from today's Campers as Alox Soldiers differ from the still very much in production Pioneers, and there's no doubt about the Soldiers being discontinued.

Just to be on the safe side though, I'm pairing it up with an undoubtedly discontinued Soldier. :)

Day 14

Been really busy at work and continue to attend meetings for next couple of days, so I might be a little slow to response till weekend.

1951 Soldier, I've collected a good number of soldiers, but I like how this comes with its original pouch.  Kinda makes me wonder is it how they prefer to 'edc' this knife back then?

(Image removed from quote.)
Original pouch! I didn’t know about that! Great find!  :like:

Day 14, different knife, returning snack.
A 51 soldier in original pouch? I thought the highlights of collections were running out by now, apparently not.
Nice 111mm!

Exeter - I've been hesitant to use similar knives for the same reason.  Elinox 1237 and Hoffritz 1237U.  I think the shackle should be enough to consider being 'discontinued'...and as you pointed out, scrapers, awl and such.  :dunno:

They're both still on my list of knives I might use.

Even opened a mini-me version today...236kaU or 84mm Huntsman:

Too bad this one doesn't have the LNF.  Looks like mid-late '60s.

Yet more lovely knives, especially Comis and Kamakiri- id love those in my collection too!

Day 15 - half way there!

Realised a light I don’t often use is missing a plug- back-side Philips and small screwdriver on the Master Craftsman/Astronaut to the rescue! Just need to work out why I robbed the plug at some point!?

Day 15: Carried a favorite of mine, the Wenger S111.  The tool set is closest to the Tinker, and I love the small blade!  Used it to open tea packets and the screwdriver to access the service plate on my furnace.

Day 15 used the awl to encourage these poorly made rip lines to work as designed.

Great knifes today, like your edit Rapidray, as most in this thread surely know with small details and both glossy and matte surfaces good pictures of knives are quite tricky.

Automobile with St. Christopher on scale.  Having a travel patronage Saint on scale is actually a really a cool idea, I wish Victorinox would do more unique scales like this.

Difficult to show the transparency and rest of the SAK with the right exposure. I found under exposing and popping the saturation a little worked for me.
