Some nice older SAKS, especially like the horn handled versions!

November 16-18 - Happy Monday, it's  cloudy morning with some rain showers in the area. Some basic tasks for Yeoman over the past weekend. Just opened a few packages and pieces of mail. Use it this morning to cut up a banana.
Cool photo... :like:

Day 18: Happy Monday!  Dreary here too.  The old Soldier and I are getting ready to leave for work.  Working on learning to play the Harmonica in our down time!  This one came from the USS Constitution.
Great looking Soldier!
I have been learning to play also! Having better luck with the recorders!

I thought about starting Harmonica a while ago, perhaps I should pick it up too someday. Nice Harmonica too by the way.

Day 18

A bunch of small stuff arrived today, the Hercules's blade did a good job opening them. (These slide lock 111mm models almost feel like cheating, but hey, they're definitely discontinued. :) )

Day 18
Still using the Champion. The strangest thing happened and I didn't have my camera with me.  I was pouring myself a meal replacement shake when I dropped the can and it went down into the glass. It fit flush in the glass and pretty much vacuum sealed itself in, with nothing sticking out to grab and no way to get it out.  I had to punch a hole in the bottom of the can with a kitchen knife then screw in the corkscrew to pull the can out of the glass.  The corkscrew saved the day!

The chipped scales...ouch.

OIC!  Totally misunderstood you!  :D

I usually don't replace any damaged scales or parts unless that SAK becomes a real user, so as strange as it may sound, this Handyman will go back to become a shelf queen after the brief appearance. :D

I used to play the Harmonica when I was really young, would love to pick it up eventually again...

Alan, that's gonna be one of the most strangest use of corkscrew I'd ever read, who would have guessed it would vacuum seal itself on grass?  So bizarre!

kamakiri Day 19:

Changing of the guard:

Missed having the small blade today with the Mech Jr.  :-[ Only use was for mail call duty...opened up another 4 layer 84mm that might show up later in the Disco Challenge.  :mail: This is slated to be the user copy of one of my favorites.

I couldn't find my other soldier for the pic...the one above is the user copy that sits on my desk.   :ahhh  :dunno:

I'm sure I'll figure it out after tomorrow.
