Closer look at the planet.
Planet or home land?   :tu:

Depends a little on the definition of home - not easy for an expat at the best of times  :D

Day 7

Used the combo tool to pry out and old, leaky battery from the remote at my mom.

Great photos and uses.

Day 7
The Yeoman came in handy today doing several odd little jobs:
- Used the magnifying glass to check some expiration dates
- Combo tool to pry the back tabs on a picture frame
- awl for removing the tamper seal on a bottle of soap and vitamins
- knife for cutting some dog treats and putting a little spreadable cheese in one
- Phillips driver to tighten a gate screw
- tweezers for some personal grooming
- then the scissors to open a snack before taking a break
Only Yeoman tool not used so far today was the corkscrew.  Maybe I need to buy a bottle of wine to make a full use day

Good uses all, with Sos24 really pulling out all the stops!

Day 8

Well this morning got off to a bad start with managing to fall off at traffic lights due to not being to unclip a pedal - not done that for many a year, more embarrassing than injuring! Just finished clearing out the pea patch in the garden, and managed to get some splinters off the pea-sticks! Still, it’s an opportunity to remove said splinters with the magnifier and tweezers - took a bit of digging, but got there in the end - this one was the most well dug in! Before and after shots - bit tricky to do during!

Ouch!
I know our Father has had his hand of protection over me. I was helping another tec at a first time visit, 2 story school and we opened the doors to a unit. I remember yelling “RUN” and took off. He went one way and I another. Hundreds came flying out of that unit. We were off that roof in record time. Didn’t know I could run that fast!
