Some nice posts!

Saturday 14 September - busy day this morning fixing some fencing on the farm. Used the awl on the explorer as a make shift tool to install some wire clips that hold barb wire on steel t posts. A bit rough on the awl edge but it works. Also later, I  used the modified Pioneer to open up a refrigerator water filter package. Time to use the bottle opener for a few adult beverages....
Nice mod there!  :like: :tu:

Day 14

No actual use today, but I did sharpen the G10 Yeoman on my mug just for the fun of it.

Day 14
Really busy day due to my parents’ anniversary party.
I started by using Smokey to trim some loose threads from my dress shorts

But then I switched to Tim-man (Timascus Yeoman) for the special occasion.  Tim-man was used several times, including cutting some parchment paper for under the old cake topper, removing some staples, opening various packages, etc.  It was even used to cut a helium balloon for my niece to inhale the helium.

Then it was used to open the celebration beer afterward.

More great uses, everyone- I can see my doing beer duty later!

Day 15

Well this morning’s cycle ride went smoothly, though I still ache from the events of last Sunday, you don’t seem to bounce back quite as quickly when you hit your 50s!

Never mind, time for some fresh coffee, and, being Italian, Rizio does like his old style, Lavazza qualità oro beans, burr ground by hand, Bialetti Kona pot, and he’ll even let me do cappuccino as we’re safely before the 10 a.m. cut off point!

Day 15

These Vic scissors are simply the best for precise cuts, such as when you need to work on the bike's electric circuit and need to remove some insulation tube. The final payoff was a working hazard warning light system and additional (so-called 'fog') lights.

Also used to scrape off some wire insulation: the electrician's blade (no pic alas).

Rapidray - nearly half way there! Nice flowers, Ron Who, and good work Dutch Tooler  :tu:

After more faffing in the garden, Rizio decided it was time to open a cool one, InvesTigator in paw - he didn’t use the Rapha bottle opener - the combo tool is way better!!

Son picked up a thorn at the campsite. So Yeoman’s tweezers to the rescue.

They loved the collage and have already designated where they are going to hang it.  It was a big hit at the party because it was displayed while people signed the matting.

Have a nice one!

Day 15
Today’s uses included cutting some brambles that were poking into the alley and cutting the top off a tube of numbing stuff for my tooth. Hurts like hell!!
Oh and slicing a lemon for G+T to help numb the pain.
Great pics today, sorry to here that kottskrapa hope all is well.

Day 15

Found an unusual use for the inline Phillips: I always struggled removing the top of my refillable e-liquid container, until now I pulled/forced it out with pliers, but today I though I could try prying/leveraging it out through the center hole. Worked like a charm.

Was sort of a recovery day watching football with my little brother.  The only use was opening a bottle of beer.
