Picked this up today.  The main blade is looking very sad.  One scale is loose and its filthy.  I'll give it some needed tlc and figure out how what to do with the blade.  Its has a nice compliment of tools.

Date, model name, any other tid bits of info highly appreciated.  :hatsoff:

That tool set looks like a Handyman, but they came with a nail file in place of a small blade.  They were basically Wenger's answer to the Fieldmaster.

Thanks.  I just did some poking around and Handyman looks right.  Its got the nail file for sure.  Man Wenger did some beefy back springs or at least the "seem" that way.  It has a great tool set and the scissors are non serrated  :dunno:.   Kinda cool.  Non locking bottle opener.  Nail nick on the saw and a swedge on the nail file, towards the tip located on the bottom.  Very interesting SAK.  I'm soaking it now in warm very soapy water.

Its all cleaned and oiled but more importantly, I took care of the blade.  I sharpened it using diamond stone first to get some of the more serious damage out.  There looked to be some wiggle along the blade before the actual chip.  I'd love to know what the heck the damage came from.

I then went to my Lansky and used the 17 degree setting.  I went thru red, green, blue, the ceramic, and finally stropped.  Its back to hair shaving and the chip and wiggles are pretty much gone.  I love how these older SAKs were so highly polished.

I had a heck of a time taking pics of a very polished blade .

:salute: I'm going to carry it so I was happy to get the blade in good shape.  The saw seems like it was never used  :dunno:.  This SAK is old so I am a bit surprised.  It's going to accompany me today while my Cyclist takes a needed break.

Thank you.  Next I was to address the loose scale.  Might pop in a little epoxy underneath.  Its nothing terrible but there its noticeable.
