Some people shouldn't [can't] have nice things
To some it’s just a means to an end.
To them it’s just a tool that when dull they sharpen as quickly and with the least effort as possible.Despite the fact the blade has lost some material it does appear to have a fairly even a uniform bevel And looks like it will do a job.To some it’s just a means to an end.
I think it's mostly used as a scraper anyway so he probably doesn't care about sharpnes, such a waste of a nice knife.Sent fra min FRD-L09 via Tapatalk
Trade him a real scrapper for it.
Sadly to most people a knife is just another tool to be abused and discarded.I had a friend whom I worked with in a body shop who used to dig old Bondo out of dents with a 1920's era KA-BAR locking guard hunter. When I first saw him do this I implored him to cease immediately and I would buy him a knife to do that task. He refused;saying he liked the feel of the knife.I tried in vain to buy it from him. About 40 years later I finally found one in an antique shop and paid a rather large sum of money for it only to learn that it was worth about twice what I had paid. I often wonder what happened to the other one. Here is a pic of the one I bought.
