I thought yours was nice, and being gift from a love one to boot.  Then I receive one too! From a little guy who has shown to me interest in all things sharp.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

Nice one RT!  I've yet to come across one, but I wouldn't mind adding one to the collection.

Just catching up a bit.  Y'all have some very terrific knives.  With each next wonderful picture and each next wonderful page I'll be looking closer at the knives I come across at the fleamarket.  It wasn't that I was avoiding them it was that I was unfamiliar.

Sadly I know I've passed on some good ones.  There are a few sellers that come upon nice things for reasonable prices.  I just was unaware of what they had since traditional folders were not really on my radar.

A bit of a geeky observation, but...

Did you know... that the two bladed 62032 Texas Jack is actually 4g heavier than the three bladed 63032 stockman of the same pattern? I figured out why and it's quite obvious once you examine them, but do you know why?

Answers on a postcard*- first correct answer gets a sweetie.  :2tu:

Thicker blade stock???

Might contribute fractionally, but not the main reason.  :D

Edit: Actually no, there’s nothing difference in blade stock, I just checked.

I'm pretty certain I know why. But since I've already guessed I wait a while giving others a chance.    :D
