Leatherman Style Cs with Juice phillips
on: September 21, 2019, 05:05:36 PM
Title says it all really.  Also shown is my Style CS with a flat driver fromn a Squirt and a package opener.

Would have been an easy mod --- heat the pivot to weaken the glue, undo the screw and replace tool.  Except the top screw was tight and only the reverse screw would move.  So I had to remove the pivot and then reattach the scissors under backspring pressure.  Then somehow I broke off the little metal bit that is on the little spring-thing on the scissors on the opposite handle.  Luckily I had a spare from a Squirt, and replaced that, again having to reinsert the pivot under backspring pressure.  >:(

But it's done.   :drink:

Both great mods. :like:
I discovered the annoyance of backsprings when I did my Roxon mod, but it just helped me get better at reassembly. :tu:

I found my LM Crunch useful.

I guess this could be called the LM Style mini  Centredrive?
