Do you do a lot of work on watches?

That looks a decent watch too! What is it?

Only one of my hobbies (my gf always calls me an universal dilettante  :))
It´s a generic  Valjoux 7750 caliber.

My Wave
(Image removed from quote.)

Is that one a drawer queen Eddie?
It's not a drawer queen Ben. That Wave is a hardened veteran and had been to beach parties opening beer bottles and canned foods.

Any reason why that rather than the TTi Ben?

Am I correct in thinking that the TTi has the crimper in the pliers?  If so, that's why.  :D

It does that's true, but it also has the S30V blade and just feels well, more betterer :D The cap crimper doesn't interfere with the pliers anyway IMO, and I have actually used it a couple of times!

I don't have a Ti (or an AL) - they're on my list but I'm skint. I have the XTi though and apart from the S30V / 154CM blades, there doesn't seem to be much noticable difference.

Thing that bugs me is that although the Ti is discontinued, they still seem to fetch the same prices as the TTi. Maybe that means they are very good ;)

I used to come here a lot.

I got mine second hand from a guy on Bladeforums but I believe they are sold at some B&M stores. Not sure where they can be found on-line. I think they're still in production so it shouldn't be too hard to track one down.

They are labeled either the SeberTech M4 or the IDL T10. Should be around 10-15$.
