Actually I do have some on shelves as well.  The plan is after my thinning out I'll be able to fit all of them on the shelves.

Still working on it. :)

That's what I was thinking too. Looks like it could use a bit more SOG representation though.... ::) :D

Does a Romeo y Julieta cigar box count as a expensive case? ;)

Cheers :) I do try and try a little bit of everything out, never know if you'll like something till you try it :) More SOG is definitely on the cards as well as some early Leatherman stuff :)

That depends on if it has the original contents ;)  If you just want the box and have no use for said contents please feel free to send them my way :D

Victorinox Spirit with 1.4mm braided nylon cord knotted for a lanyard/wrist strap with a small S-BINER and about about10+ feet of extra cord around the sheath(common whipping method for the wrap).

How is it when you are using the tool though?  Doesn't it keep getting in the way?

I like Stormdrane's Blog.  I don't read it thinking I'll be able to emulate his work but it does inspire and normally I come away having learnt something I can at least attempt :)

The lanyards work fine for me when attached to a multitool.  They don't get in my way, but someone not used to them might find them awkward at first.  They're easily removed if needed though.  Adding a swivel/clip helps if I find myself using the screwdrivers often, since it allows the twisting/rotating of the tool without making the lanyard follow.

They're invaluable if you find yourself using one while around water, up a ladder, or have things falling out of your pockets while sitting or getting in/out of a vehicle.  I think lanyards, are themselves, a good 'loss prevention' multitool.   :D

I got bored this afternoon and took some group shots of part of my mt "family" that's currently with me (being away from home). Sorry for the crappy quality -- these are off a cell phone.

In these shots:
  • Buck X-Tract
  • LM Charge TTi
  • LM Original Wave
  • LM Skeletool
  • Vic Explorer Plus
  • Vic ST Spirit

Nice family meeting:

Everybody talking up...

Main knife blades open (shorter to longer):

Phillips out (shorter to longer -- I find myself using the Phillips driver and pliers the most throughout the day):

Non-sheath carry options:

Width comparison (narrower to wider):

Nice pics , and a good idea for pointing out the different carry options . Makes it easier at a glance for anyone considering any of these tools  :tu:
